This year, Men’s Wearhouse is getting into the Prom spirit by offering teens a chance to text, tweet and talk their way to a free tux, $100 Visa Gift card, and even a Camaro Coupe when they participate in the Men’s Wearhouse Prom Rep campaign. The program offers deep discounts and free tuxes to students who sign up to be a prom rep and recruit other students to rent their tuxes from Men’s Wearhouse. Reps who recruit ten friends to rent a tux from Men’s Wearhouse receive a free tux rental, and female prom reps who earn a free tux rental can give it to a friend or opt for a $100 Visa gift card.

Head to http://www.menswearhouse.com/prom to check out all of the details.

WIN IT!

ONE winner will receive a $100 Men’s Wearhouse gift card.

Best investment I ever made was buying tuxes for hubby and the boys. What I saved in proms and formal occasions was unbelieveable.

valmg April 21, 2010 - 11:09 am

I remember. I may consider doing the same once my son is closer to prom age.

Becky M April 20, 2010 - 9:03 am

One of my best proms was getting dumped by my boyfriend the week before and just going with a bunch of girlfriends!

I actually think it was homecoming not prom (prom cost so much) but I found an awesome purple princess dress for only $25 and all the boys that made fun of me (I was “goth”) keep falling all over themselves to tell me how pretty I was, haha losers 😛

The most memorable prom moment was probably getting ready that day, making sure my hair and makeup were done nicely.

I skipped the prom, but I had a dress all picked out. My boyfriend didn’t want to go, and I almost took his brother instead, but decided I didn’t want to go either.

I was prom queen at my prom! My date was a jerk, though, and I had to hitch a ride home with someone else!

Christi Williams April 25, 2010 - 1:04 am

Some memorable prom moments of my senior year, I went to get a fun up do on my hair and came out looking like my Grandma, I hated my dress and my date thinking he was going to keep my flowers fresh, put them in the freezer, half way through the night they had turned brown. So sad I know. But I did end up marrying him so it turned out okay! 🙂

my date tried to do a u-turn on the way to dinner and we got hit because he didn’t look before he did it. We spent the first 3 hours of our date on the side of the road waiting to be towed.

For prom we made sure that every member of our 20 person choir was there (even our sophomores!) It made for a great night because all of our tight-knit group was sharing it with us seniors@!

My bot so fun Prom memory would be my dress that I did not like (parents made me get it) and borrowing heels that were a size too small. ouch!

Liz April 26, 2010 - 1:10 pm

Our limo driver pulled over on a busy road when he realized he forgot to put sodas in the fridge for us!

At my prom, we (5 couples) were hanging out at one friend’s home and all the guys and 2 girls fell asleep on the couch watching a movie (3 am). The two other girls and I ran to the store and picked up a package of toilet paper and plastic forks. We then tp’d the home of one of our dates and forked their lawn and got back to the house before anyone noticed we were gone.

When he got home the next morning, his mom was waiting on the front porch waiting for him… she thought it was hilarious (and was wondering why no one ever tp’d their house before) but still made him clean it up. I think we started something…since their house was tp’d more than a few times over the following years.

Anne G April 29, 2010 - 12:32 pm

My most memorable prom moment was turning down the guy who asked me to the prom, because there was someone else I wanted to ask. But the guy I liked said no, so I ended up going back to the first guy and telling him I changed my mind and would go with him. Pretty embarrassing.
