My favorite stew is what my family calls, “Mimi Stew”. It’s just a vegetable soup/stew, but my grandma does something to it that makes it really thick. It’s so good on a cold day, and even better the next day! Thank you for a great giveaway!

My favorite stew … 5 pounds of cubed chuck beef, 5 pounds of yellow onions, sliced, 2 quarts of beef broth, 1/4 cup paprika. That’s it! It is soooo easy and so yummy!

I’m a big fan of Italian wedding soup: sausage meatballs and orzo pasta in a chicken broth. Add carrots and chopped spinach with a sprinkling of parmesan. Devour.

I’m a huge fan of the Honeybaked Ham Store Bean Soup pack. Use the multi bean pack with their HB Hambone (they leave a lot of meat on them) and you have an easy, but oh so delicious soup. YUM!

My favorite is my beef stew that I make. I make sure to add TONS of veggies and tons of meat. It is SO GOOD!!! I make sure to have extra because we love to have it the next day too!

I love homemade clam chowder. As a Mainer I grew up on my grandmother’s and mom’s clam chowder. There is nothing better than chowder with a dab of butter on top and with tons of oyster crackers! Gosh, I am so hungry now!!

Oooooh, soup is my favorite thing to eat!
My favorite soup is my own homemade chicken and rice.
It has white meat chicken, onions, celery, mushrooms, rice, chicken broth, salt & pepper. Sometimes I prefer a chicken tortilla soup. It has chicken, salsa, corn, black beans, cilantro, shredded tortillas, cumin, tomatoes. It can be so delicious. My daughter is in charge of making it! And my last favorite is the ‘Zuppa Toscana’ at Olive Garden. It has spicy sausage, kale, potatoes, onions, and cream. Delicioso!

I like vegetable soup with all kinds of fresh veggies, and I like it to be in tomato based broth rather than chicken broth. I also like to have little pasta shells in my soup sometimes.

The best stew I had was a Chicken & Dumpling stew that I had when I was traveling. I seriously want to go back to that town just for the stew! In general I really like bean & ham soup.

My favorite is chili and I usually vary the recipe with different seasonings and spices, but there’s always the basics: lean ground beef, onions, a chile pepper or two, and dark red kidney beans. 🙂

This would be a great little cookbook to have! Thanks! Search for ham and potato soup. There’s a great recipe that’s rated 5 out of 5 by more than 500 people (at least that was the number the last time I looked at it.) It’s fabulous.
