When I moved out of my parents one of the things I had to start doing was the dishes. RB and I didn’t get a dishwasher until about ten years ago, when my parents gave us one as a gift. After trying several brands of detergent we seemed to be getting the same results from all of them. Our dishes would be clean, for the most part, most of the time. Glasses would almost always have a film and need to be washed by hand, plates occasionally came out with food stuck on them and silverware almost always looked dull and spotty. Since no one product stood out over the others we’ve always used whatever dishwasher detergent was on sale, whether it be liquid or premeasured packages. We’ve never tried any type of drying agent, and even though our dishwasher is set to dry with heat the dishes come out wet anyway. We do scrape food off of our dishes but we don’t usually rinse them. And we pack the dishwasher full.

I received a sample of FINISH Quantum Powerball dish detergent, along with a sample of FINISH Jet Dry Turbo Dry. FINISH is the new name for Electrasol, a name I’m familiar with. The FINISH Quantum Powerball is in a premeasured package that does not need to be unwrapped. I love anything that makes my life easier so I appreciated that there was no measuring or unwrapping involved to use it. I put it into the dispenser and that was that. When the load of dishes was finished I was surprised to see that the silverware was actually shiny and the glasses, although they had a couple of little spots, weren’t filmy. What a happy girl I was!

Not having used any type of drying agent before I have nothing to the FINISH Jet Dry Turbo to but I sure did like not having the dishes dripping water all over the place as I unloaded the dishwasher.
FINISH Quantum Powerball is available nationwide in 12, 20, and 36 count sizes. FINISH Jet Dry Turbo Dry is available nationwide in 6.76oz and 13oz bottles.
