Entenmanns Pancake Pockets Box

We are BIG Entenmann’s fans in our house. RB’s favorite is the chocolate eclairs. Mine is the cheese danish. TJ’s is the donuts. We were treated to a treat recently – the opportunity to try a new Entenmann’s product.

Entenmann’s Pancake Pockets are two pancakes put together to make a pocket that have a filling inside. Pancake Pockets come in three flavors – Chocolate, Strawberry and Maple.

Entenmann’s Pancake Pockets are super easy to make. They come in individually wrapped packages. Just place one Pancake Pocket in the microwave and warm for about ten seconds. That’s it. Heat and eat. There are 170 calories in each Pancake Pocket.

We all tried the Chocolate Pancake Pockets and found them to be very tasty. I liked that they were very easy to make, very convenient for those moments where you’re literally running out the door somewhere. The pancakes were soft. The chocolate filling was warm and tasty, sort of like a cross between Pop-Tart filling, pudding and chocolate syrup. TJ told me he’d like me to keep getting them.

Entenmann’s Pancake Pockets are currently only available in the metropolitan New York area but hopefully they’ll become more widely available soon. Consult the Entenmann’s Store Locator for the location nearest you.

One thing that I do to try and reduce sodium in my families diet is not buy so much processed foods. I’ve found that if I try to stay on the outskirts of the grocery store, I get better foods for my family and a lot less sodium.

The flavor that I would most like to try would be chocolate for sure! I love chocolate pancakes!

To reduce sodium in a family’s diet, try cutting back on the amount of salt you add to your food. I hardly put any salt in my baking! One time by accident I put in 2 tablespoons of salt in chocolate chip cookies thinking it was 2 teaspoons, goodness, those things were salty, I’ve vowed to try to add as little as possible, if not any, salt in my cookies for now on 🙂

One thing I have done to reduce sodium is to get rid of the salt shaker. We don’t even miss it.

We reduce sodium by not adding salt to food while cooking.

Cherie Corey November 6, 2010 - 11:03 pm

I can’t decide between the chocolate or the strawberry, but a tight choice would be chocolate first.
