Twinkle Toes: The Movie is the sparkly, fun-filled adventure that will make you want to get up and dance! She’s Grace “Twinkle Toes” Hastings, the shining star of this all-new movie! She has a big secret though… she gets terrible stage fright in front of anyone but her fluffy friend Walter. As Grace works to overcome her fears, and makes some super cool friends at her new school, she discovers that it’s Ok to go ahead and shine!

MY THOUGHTS
I received a copy of Twinkle Toes: The Movie for review. My 7-year old daughter has been a fan of SKECHERS Twinkle Toes shoes since they first came out. Needless to say, she was very excited to watch a movie with these little gems as the shiny star! The dancing in the movie is what caught my daughter’s eye, especially when Grace’s sparkly shoes lit up every time she danced. There were several segments where Grace danced to her own unique beat, which my daughter found quite entertaining. This paired with Grace’s cute style and her adorable best friend, Walter the bunny, this movie was an instant hit for her. Personally, I was very pleased with the message of the movie. Grace loved to dance but was too scared to go after her dream of being a dancer. With the help of some friends at her new school, she realizes that she can overcome that fear and use her insecurities to conquer anything. As a mom of a pre-teen daughter, I found this message to be incredibly refreshing. A cute, stylish, funny movie with an important lesson to be learned? Who would have thought!?
