Recently Country Crock has announced their support of the Wounded Warrior Project, an organization established to raise awareness and provide aid for injured service members. My brother is a veteran. My babysitter is a veteran. I am so grateful that there are people like them that have fought and continue to fight for our country, our freedom and our rights. Unfortunately, our soldiers suffer from injuries, both mental and physical. They need care and support that isn’t always readily available.

Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) began when several veterans and friends, moved by stories of the first wounded service members returning home from Afghanistan and Iraq, took action to help others in need. What started as a program to provide comfort items to wounded service members has grown into a complete rehabilitative effort to assist warriors as they recover and transition back to back to civilian life. Thousands of wounded warriors and caregivers receive support each year through WWP programs designed to nurture the mind and body and encourage economic empowerment and engagement.

As part of the alliance, Country Crock has committed $100,000 to the non-profit organization. In addition, has created a specially marked tub of Country Crock that will be on shelves through the end of August.
