  • 1 cup cold water

Crockpot London Broil Ingredients

INSTRUCTIONS

First peel the potatoes.

Cut the potatoes into cubes. They cook faster and more evenly that way.

Cut the London Broil into chunks and lay it on the bottom of the crockpot. You can also lay it flat uncut, in the crockpot if you prefer it that way.

Lay the potatoes over the meat.

Pour the contents of all six packets into one bowl and mix with water.

Pour the liquid over the beef and potatoes.

Cook on high for about 5 hours or low for 8 hours.

I decided as an after thought that carrots would also give good flavor and add color. The first time out I had to add canned carrots, because I thought to add them so late in the game. Since then I’ve added some frozen carrots at the beginning and it fits in nicely.

This makes a wonderful, zesty tasting stew. It didn’t start out to be a stew but turned into a nice one. It feeds a good 8 to 10 people. It’s definitely easy to make and would be great on a chilly fall night.

Whole peeled onions are excellent add to this. I did and it was great. We like to eat cooked onions. This makes a delicious meal.

This is an excellent recipe. I subbed half the water for red wine, added sliced mushrooms, carrots too. I used chuck steak since that's what I had. Did it on stove top in Dutch oven since I was home today. DELISCIOUS ! And so easy!

This looks and sounds really good. And really easy! Kroger has London Broil on sale this week so I'm going to try your recipe. I think hubby will love it and I love anything that goes in the crockpot!
