One of the many things I decided to get when I brought our dog Dobby home was a dog bed. I knew I was going to crate train him and wanted him to have a comfortable place to lay. I wanted a comfortable, durable and washable bed. In my quest for the right bed, I did a lot of touching, pinching, squeezing and even sitting in. I also read a lot of tags. As it turns out, finding the perfect dog bed is harder than you’d think. Some beds feel thin or flatten. Many beds aren’t washable. Molly Mutt’s Dog Bed Duvet presents an awesome alternative to a more traditional dog bed in that you put it together yourself. Because you stuff it with your own materials, it is as soft as you want it to be. And it’s all washable!

I received the Bleecker Street Duvet in the huge size, and a stuff sack. I love the colorful, fun print of the duvet. Dog beds all tend to look a bit plain so these fun designs are terrific. I love the concept of using clothing to fill the bed. Not only is this a great way to recycle clothing, but it means every last bit of the bed is washable. Here’s a full description of the product.

Our dog bed duvets are made from 100% cotton canvas that is durable, washable, and pre-shrunk. “outside” duvet covers are made from a poly/cotton blend and are treated to be water resistant.

Use our mesh stuff sack to organize the inside of your duvet. the stuff sack helps shape all of the old clothes, pillows and blankets to create a comfy mattress for the duvet cover. And when it’s time for a wash, the stuff sack and all its contents can go right into the washer. Stuff Sacks are 100% nylon, zippered, and gusseted to perfectly fit inside your molly mutt duvet.
