If it hasn’t happened in your area yet, the first day of school is most likely right around the corner. What are two items kids need each school year? You guessed it! A backpack and lunch bag.

Wildkin offers such a variety of prints in both items, as well as different sizes and styles. This year, I opted for a Sidekick style backpack for my little girl’s first year. I am quite pleased with the quality of her backpack, from the fabric to the zippers to the space inside. She’s thrilled about the butterfly print she chose. I have to agree with her that it’s adorable.

In my opinion, the Sidekick style is very close to your traditional backpack with a little added space. It’s an extra-durable polyester fabric with a padded back for extra comfort. The interior has a moisture-resistant nylon lining, as well as utility pockets and holders for pencils. The exterior is embroidery friendly and has adjustable padded straps. On Wildkin’s site, you should be able to find matching accessories for each item and print you choose.

The lunch bag’s durability is just as impressive as the Sidekick backpack. The fabric and build is sturdy and well thought out. Like a lot of items made for children, this bag is PVC, BPA & Phthalate-free. It’s safe for all foods, insulated and very easy to clean. Inside the zippered front pocket you will find an inner mesh pouch where I’ve been known to tuck napkins or a note to say hi to my baby at school. In addition to the mesh pouch, there are inner elastic tabs that will secure a water bottle or ice pack to keep your child’s food chilled until lunchtime.
