Join Max Black (Kat Dennings) and Caroline Wesbox Channing (Beth Behrs) in Season 4 of “2 Broke Girls”. If you have not had the chance to watch “2 Broke Girls” before, let me give you a little background.

2 Broke Girls: Season 4

Background (before Season 4)

When “2 Broke Girls” first aired it started out with Caroline’s family losing all of their money. Her father, Martin Channing is involved in a Ponzi scheme and allegedly stole everyone’s money. This leaves Caroline broke and homeless. She is used to living the high life and thinks her life is over. She is very stylish and used to wear designer clothing. She has altered her diner uniform to make it fit better on her figure, and despite working at a restaurant, she still wears her favorite (or maybe the only one) pearl necklace and a metal belt around the apron.

2 Broke Girls: Season 4

Enter Max. Sarcastic, street-smart, feisty and comes from a poor background and broken home. Having been a waitress for almost her entire life, she has had to fend for herself. This has led her to become slightly bitter, but she tries to hide it with her sarcasm as her emotional shield.

2 Broke Girls: Season 4

They both work for Han Lee at the Williamsburg Diner, as well as their Max’s Cupcake business that has wavered on and off since season 1. Mutual friends include Earl (diner cashier), Oleg ( inappropriate chef), and Sophie Kaczynski (frequent diner customer as well as an upstairs neighbor of the girls).

2 Broke Girls: Season 4

Season 4

Now that you have a basic understanding of some background of the show, I will move on to Season 4. This hilarious comedic duo goes together like cupcakes and frosting. Max and Caroline are back in business and are more laugh-out-loud funny than ever! This show comes to you from Emmy® winner Michael Patrick King (Sex and the City). Once again starring Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs as two fast friends and roommates who work together at a Brooklyn diner where they serve up sarcasm and smarts. They also have their own start-up business selling Max’s Homemade Cupcakes at the diner’s pop-up window, where they also bring out more laughs than should be legally allowed! (that is if there was a laugh police). This series also stars Garrett Morris, Jonathan Kite, Matthew Moy and Jennifer Coolidge. Be ready for another season of outrageous adventures and guest stars in this hit half-hour comedy.

Although this sitcom is not rated, I do feel there are many innuendos and some straight out ‘off color’ areas. It would be best in my opinion to view it before you do with your young children. My opinion is at least ages 14+.

I lived above my parents apartment when I first moved out and although I paid rent I rarely paid for anything else because I still ate at their house, stocked up on necessities, and even showered at their house still. My dad always said I should of just stayed and paid them rent.
