About the Author
Christa Pierce has loved painting and telling stories ever since she was a little girl. This is her first children’s book, so her inner child is very happy. She studied illustration at Seattle Pacific University, where she received her BA in art. She is a lover of tea and acrylic paint—but not together. Christa usually paints in acrylic, oil, or watercolor, with shading and detail. Her work has been exhibited at the Seattle Pacific University Art Center Gallery and featured in Response magazine. She lives near Portland, Oregon.
This book is an absolutely adorable way to tell someone how much you love them. Bird starts off by saying to Fox “Did you know that I love you?” and goes through all different ways Bird has been showing Fox, like feeling in her hugs. Bird lets Fox know that no matter how big Fox will get that Bird will still love her. As a mom you always want your child to know how much you love them, that is unconditional, and it’s forever. This very colorfully illustrated book does just that. A, E, and R really enjoyed me reading it to them and A even helped out.

What a sweet book. I would read this over and over again to my 5 year old. Reminds me I need to keep reading to him, even though he doesn't always want me to.

Aww. That is so sweet. I love this for teaching kids that no matter where their loved ones are or no matter how big they get, the love never leaves them.

I love these kinds of books. I think kids (and adults) need to hear they are loved all the time! I try to make an effort each day to say "I love you" to every person in my family. Great book!
