Bacon Corn Chowder #Recipe For Ninja Cooking System

I make a few chowders with potatoes and corn. This particular one is a super quick version that’s ideal for those busy afternoons or evenings. Bacon goes really well with potatoes and potatoes go really well with corn. I should let you know in advance that this chowder is a tad on the salty side, courtesy of the bacon. Here’s how I made it.

• Ninja 3-in-1 Cooking System or Ninja 4-in-1 Cooking System
• silicone cooking spoon
• potato peeler
• knife
• ladle
• measuring cup

Ingredients

• 5 cups chicken broth
• 6 cups diced potatoes
• 10.8 oz bag frozen steamable corn
• 16 oz shredded sharp cheddar cheese – divided into 12 oz and 4 oz
• 1 cup shredded bacon
• 2 tsp onion powder
• 2 tsp garlic powder
• 1 tsp black pepper

Instructions

Place the broth into Ninja 3-in-1 Cooking System and bring to a boil.

Add the potatoes, corn and seasonings to the broth.

Cook until potatoes are almost finished, they’ll still be a tad firm and won’t be fork tender yet.

Add the bacon and 12 oz cheddar into the Ninja.

Cook for about 10 minutes, letting the cheese melt and mix with everything else.

Serve immediately. Sprinkle the remaining 4 oz shredded cheddar on top when serving if desired.
