There’s something really nice about having something that’s one of a kind. Take luggage, for example. You’ve probably been to the airport and reached for the wrong bag on the luggage carousel at some point, simply because they all look so similar. That’s why people take to using luggage tags and little decorations to make their bags look different. Monograms are nothing new. I used to write them over and over years ago when I was young and imagining what a fantasticly fabulous life that I’d have. Monograms came right after writing out my name with my boyfriend’s last name of course, you know how that is. After getting married we had monogrammed towels for a time but when they wore out I didn’t replace them. After all, we know who we are.

I love to travel. To me the ideal weekend bag is durable and roomy, and easy to distinguish as my own. The Pink Monogram Black Chevron Weekender Travel Bag is exactly that. To begin with, the tote is very roomy. It measures a generous 19″L x 8″W x 11″H. I was easily able to fit three outfits, pajamas, a cosmetic bag and an extra pair of shoes in it and still had room to spare. The bag also has a zippered inner pocket that would make a good place to keep smaller personal items you would like easy access to, such as your keys, sunglasses, wallets, etc. There are outer pockets on each end of the bag that is perfect for items like water bottles. The tote has both a shoulder strap and two handles, so you can carry it with you in whichever manner is more comfortable for you. The bag can be folded into a compact, flat package for storage.
Obviously one of the things I love about this bag is the look. It’s very distinctive and it would be pretty difficult for anyone to confuse it with their own bag. Pink is one of my favorite colors so it only made sense to have my monogramming done in pink. You can choose from other colors for your monogram, as well as other fonts. I loved that I wasn’t limited to just three characters, I actually got five characters so my bag could say valmg. Love it!
Another thing that I really like about this bag is that it is so durable. Everything inside and outside can be wiped down. If you’ve ever had a cloth bag that got dirty like I’ve had you’ll definitely appreciate the ability to quickly clean it off with ease. The size of this bag makes it perfect for travel, trips to the gym, and trips to a resort or amusement park, as well as those days that are jam packed full of activities.
