Going Back To School? #GoBackHealthy With @MinuteClinic

We'd love it if you shared it!

School starts up again in a little over five weeks here in New Jersey. In the weeks prior the pediatrician’s waiting room is frequently much more crowded then usual. It isn’t because kids are sick, at least not all of them. It’s because kids need to get their vaccinations and boosters before school opens. I am a great believer in getting vaccinations, I feel they are very important. Which is probably why states require them for school aged children. If you don’t have a pediatrician, or just don’t want to go to one, CVS Minute Clinic is an alternative option.
MinuteClinic offers a variety of back-to-school vaccinations. It is important to know your state’s requirements for vaccinations such as meningitis and pertussis. If you know what vaccinations are needed you’ll be prepared in advance and ready, instead of  running around at the last minute trying to get things done so your child doesn’t miss the first day of school. To find out which vaccinations are required in your area, visit: http://bit.ly/1lUS5vo.
Maybe vaccinations aren’t an issue. Maybe a physical is all that’s needed. MinuteClinic offers pre-participation sports physicals for just $39 (that’s $20 off!). I remember when my oldest was in middle school running track. He passed out once from dehydration. Every school year after I made sure he had a physical, no matter if it was required or not. My oldest, getting ready to enter college, needs to get a college physical and be sure everything is as it should be and up to date. MinuteClinic offers those too. Basically, MinuteClinic helps make it easier to send kids back to school healthy and protected.

I love CVS. I go there every month for my prescriptions. I will have to look into this.

I've heard a little bit about Minute Clinic and I think it's such a useful/great idea! And I agree with you, a physical every year is not a bad idea, even if it's not required by the school.

Oh I've heard of minute clinic. I wonder if they have one in our area. I'm sure people would rather go here, than wait in a busy doctor's office.
