Hubby really enjoys steak and onions. He also really enjoys a good thin crust pizza. I decided to put a pizza together for him the other night. As a fun treat, I decided to top it with peppers and onions. He loved it so much that the recipe is now a keeper. Here’s how you make it.
Pepper Steak Pizza
Ingredients
- 11 oz refrigerated thin pizza dough
- 1/2 lb thin eye round steak
- 2 oz shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
- 6-7 oz pizza sauce
- 1 green pepper
- 1 cup onion
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Preheat oven to 425 f.
Cook the steak in frying pan.
Chop the pepper and onion.
Place the pepper and onion into the pan and brown.
Lay out the pizza dough on a baking sheet.
Spread the sauce out on top of the dough.
Cut and distribute the steak, then the peppers and onions.
Top with the two cheeses.
Sprinkle the onion powder and garlic powder on the top.
Bake for 10-14 minutes, until the crust looks done and the cheese is melted.
Let sit a few minutes before slicing.
Service with salt and pepper to taste.

I almost always use refrigerated, the key is to stick close to the directions but watch it for a few minutes before until you know exactly how your oven is with the temp.
