Bacon Ranch Chicken Ziti Recipe - From Val's Kitchen

One of my favorite sandwiches ever is a chicken club, with bacon and cheddar on top of moist chicken breast. I felt those things would also make for a tasty casserole. This dish is really easy to make. It’s simple and tasty. Here’s how I made it.

Bacon Ranch Chicken Ziti Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb ziti
  • 18 oz chicken breast (I used 2x 9 oz packages of Perdue Short Cuts)
  • 24 oz cool ranch dressing
  • 8 oz shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 – 1 cup crumbled bacon (depending on how much you like your bacon)
  • 1 large tomato
  • salt and pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 400 f.

Boil the ziti.

While the ziti is cooking cut the chicken into bite sized pieces.

Drain ziti and place in large bowl.

Add the ranch dressing to the ziti and stir well. Add the chicken, the bacon and 4 oz of the shredded cheddar and stir well.

Pour ziti into baking dish.

Slice the tomato into six slices and place them on top of the ziti.

Sprinkle the remaining 4 oz of shredded cheddar over the top.

Needs more bacon! But you can say that for anything - more bacon!

I have to admit this is one of my most favorite casseroles. I have not met a person yet that does not like it!! Great for potlocks and simple family dinners.
