Easy One-Pot Cheesesteak Pasta #Recipe

We'd love it if you shared it!

One-Pot Cheesesteak Pasta recipe

I needed a quick meal the other day. I’d forgotten to defrost meat (not a new thing) and was trying to figure out what I could add to the pasta. My oldest was talking about cheesesteaks (one of his favorite foods ever) and I thought that would make for a tasty pasta. I’m big on one-pot dishes because I love that you do everything in one pot, so I decided to make it a one-pot dish. It’s important the roast beef is rare because it’s going to cook in the water. I used the Italian roast beef because I wanted the seasonings from it to cook into the pasta. The whole dish takes about 20 minutes to make from start to finish. It’s quite tasty and we’ll definitely be having it again. Here’s how I made it.

One-Pot Cheesesteak Pasta

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb pasta
  • 6 beef boullion cubes
  • 8 cups water
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 8 slices rare Italian roast beef (the kind you get sliced from the deli counter)

INSTRUCTIONS

Place water and boullion cubes into large skillet and bring to a boil.

Add pasta.
