For a number of months during the year I spend some time on Sunday in front of the television. I love Nascar Sprint Cup, and rarely miss race. I also enjoy watching football, which is something we always do when my brother is over. Whenever game time comes I like to put food out. But, I don’t usually go all out and cook from scratch. People would much rather snack or eat while watching the game then sit in the dining room at the table eating a big meal and missing the game. It’s at that time that my go to is usually pizza. Our family has the same attitude towards pizza that it has towards sports – we all like something different. So this past weekend when I was in Walmart and saw that they had put DiGiorno pizza on rollback for $4.50 each, deciding what to serve while watching the game was a no-brainer.
There are a few varieties on rollback for $4.50, including:
- Rising Crust Pepperoni
- Rising Crust Sausage
- Rising Crust Supreme
- Three Meat
- 4 Cheese
The rollback price of $4.50 is a little over $1 cheaper then the usual price, and $2-$4 cheaper then the price at the grocery store up the street.

Of course, no game would be complete without beverages and snacks.

One of the best things about DiGiorno pizza is that it’s quick and easy to make.

It takes under 15 minutes to go from frozen to yummy in your tummy. That is the perfect amount of time for cooking something while the game is on. Put the pizza into the oven during one commercial and take it out during another. You don’t even have to pause. Win win – you eat and you don’t miss a play.

YUM! Doesn’t that look good? You want a piece right now, don’t you?!

We really enjoy DiGiorno because the crust is nice and soft and tasty. Plus, the sauces are flavorful and taste very much like the sauce you’d get in the pizza place near your house. Except it’s a lot less expensive.
And of course, no game day get together would be complete without a little dessert. I was feeling a little creative and came up with this giant cookie. This cookie represents what I imagine the field for the big game will look like next weekend. Please note there is grass and snow and even a little mud.

You have a little over a week until the big game. Be sure to head over to Walmart early and stock up on DiGiorno! I’ll be stocking up on more myself, so that I don’t have to worry about going to the store so close to game day when the stores are sure to be crowded.

I always make fresh pizza and dough, but my husband will jump at any chance he can get to buy a DiGiorno Pizza and bake it when I'm not home! Stinker... Thanks for sharing!

We love Digiorn0. I keep it on hand all the time. And the price is always great because in my house it takes 2-3 pizzas to feed everyone.
