I’ll be honest: I try to drink tons of water every day, but I get so bored with it that I give in and grab other high-calorie drinks I probably shouldn’t be drinking, especially because I’m dieting! However, I refrain from buying flavored water because it’s usually way pricier than plain water bottles.
Enter the Zingers. I happily tried out the AquaZinger and CitrusZinger with my hopes set high that they will let me enjoy my water!
First, I tried out the AquaZinger. Right out of the box it grabbed my attention simply for its heavy-duty water-bottle style. It’s almost like a thermos, helpful for keeping my drink cold, and definitely not flimsy.
The first combination I decided to try was strawberries and bananas. I love this combination in anything from cereal to yogurt, so I knew it would be a safe bet. The concept is extremely simple – so much so that even my 8-year-old figured it out. You cut up what you want to add and stuff them into the bottom container. Screw it back on to the bottom of the AquaZinger bottle, unscrewing and screwing a few times so that it really crushes up the fruit. Then, add your water and shake it up. The ingredients automatically infuse with the water. I allowed my water to steep with the ingredients for about 15 minutes and then shook it up again to really infuse everything.

The ending result tasted great. It was a light hint of fruit – enough so that it wasn’t overwhelming yet created a nice, simple change from plain water.
I was so excited to try out other ingredients, so I dug through my fridge to see what else I could try. Next was red grapes. The picture of the grapes shows how well the AquaZinger grinds up your ingredients to allow the juices to infuse with the water. This one tasted great as well.

My last test was with frozen fruit, a mixed berry blend of strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, and raspberries. I allowed the fruit to thaw at room temperature for about 15 minutes until they were soft, and then added them in. Again, you can see how well they get grinded when you screw the clear cup back onto the water bottle part. This one actually ended up being my favorite. Look at the color of the water! It had a really good flavor, probably the strongest out of the three.

After having so much luck with the AquaZinger, I moved onto the CitrusZinger expecting similar results. I was thrilled to find that I had even better results with this one!
I absolutely love lemons in water, so I tried out lemon. This one works similar to the AquaZinger, except instead of adding your fruit to the bottom, you flip the CitrusZinger upside-down, cut your fruit in half, and squeeze it over the juicer piece. Your juices go right into the water bottle piece. Leaving the fruit on the juicer so the CitrusZinger can continue to infuse the flavors as you drink, you place the bottom piece over the juicer and fruit by screwing it on. Then you add your water to the bottle, shake, and watch the flavor infuse. Simple! This was by far my favorite out of all my Zinger tests. The strength of the lemon flavor was perfect for my tastes.
I also tried it with lime, which was absolutely delicious too!
