MY THOUGHTS
I received a copy of the Sesame Street: Wild Words And Outdoor Adventures DVD. What great lessons – nature provides, and nature is everywhere! it was really cute when Jimmy was looking for feathers to keep him warm at night. When he tried taking all of one monster’s feathers, the monster got upset and the feathers started flying and tickled Jimmy. I liked the way that the DVD incorporates vocabulary, teaching words about nature, how to say them and what they mean. Scattered throughout the DVD are entertaining and educational songs, and of course lots of monsters. Big Bird thinks about moving, thanks to a real estate agent that wants to sell something and tea hes Big Bird about the meaning of the word habitat. Will he move or will he stay on Sesame Street?
