Crockpot Cinnamon Chocolate Chip Cake #Recipe

We'd love it if you shared it!

I was in the mood for cake the other day. The thing is, it was already 70 degrees outside and I didn’t want to make the house hot by baking. So I decided to try my hand at making a crockpot cake. We were very pleased with the results. While it technically takes longer than making a cake and baking it in the oven, it didn’t heat up the house. The final resulting cake was oval and not as pretty as some round or square cakes made in a pan in the oven, but it was super moist. Here’s how I made the cake.
INGREDIENTS

  • 1x box yellow cake mix
  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1x cup water
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1x 6oz box chocolate pudding mix
  • 4 oz chocolate chips
  • 4 oz cinnamon chips

DIRECTIONS
Spray entire crock with cooking spray.
In large bowl combine dry cake mix, pudding mix, cinnamon chips and chocolate chips. Stir well.

Pour mixture into crockpot.

Cook on high for 3 hours.

Let cool for 10-15 minutes.
Place a large plate on the counter and turn the crock upside down. The cake should easily slide out onto the plate. Place another plate over it and turn over, so the cake is now right side up.
Enjoy!
