We eat a lot of popcorn in our house. We love it with butter, but we also like to switch things up by adding some flavor with Kernel Seasons Popcorn Seasoning. Recently I was offered the opportunity to try the three newest flavors, due to be released in the very near future.

MY THOUGHTS
I received samples of each of the three new flavors – Pizza, Bacon Cheddar, and Buffalo Wing.

The flavors are terrific! My favorite flavor is the Pizza. When eating the Pizza flavor you can actually taste the flavor of the red sauce and Italian seasoning! I also liked the Bacon Cheddar quite a bit. it really does taste like bacon! It was ok on my popcorn but I think it will be most excellent on potatoes. In fact, you could make your own baked potato bar and offer a bunch of different flavors just by having different toppings. It’s a good way to serve everyone the same food and let them customize the flavor the way they like it. Back to the three new flavors. That leaves the Buffalo Wing. I don’t like spicy hot flavor, but my husband and son do. I took one bite and knew this one wasn’t for me. They loved the Buffalo Wing seasoning, and went through two bowls in one night! It’s definitely got a kick to it, be warned!
I was glad to see that some of the things we love about Kernel Seasonings had not changed with these new flavors. Specifically, the seasonings are still actual seasonings made from natural blends of spices and cheeses, as opposed to consisting of mostly salt like some seasonings. Speaking of salt, Kernel Seasonings has 56 percent less sodium than other popcorn seasonings, which explains why they taste more like a flavor instead of just salt. Popcorn itself isn’t high in calories. As someone who is mindful of what they’re eating on the road back from obesity, I really appreciate that Kernel Seasonings popcorn seasonings are low calorie, most of the flavors have only 2 calories per serving! (Butter has 3 and caramel has 5.) Not only can you use Kernel Seasons on popcorn, it’s also great to use on other foods such as potatoes and pasta.
Other flavors of Kernel Seasons popcorn seasoning include White Cheddar, Nacho Cheddar, Butter, Ranch, Parmesan & Garlic, Caramel, Sour Cream and Onion, Salt, kettle Corn, Jalapeno, Apple Cinnamon, Chocolate Marshmallow, Barbeque, Cajun, Chili Lime, Salt and Vinegar, and Milk Chocolate Caramel.
Kernel Seasons has a suggested retail price of approximately $2.99 per shaker. Kernel Seasons is available for purchase nationwide in over 15,000 grocery stores and stores like Wal-Mart, Blockbuster Video, Safeway and Food Lion. You can also purchase it from the website at www.NoMoreNakedPopcorn.com.
