Beauty and the Beast The Grey Stuff Cookies And Cream Mousse Recipe

The Beauty And The Beast live action movie releases this Friday, March 17. I do love this movie. If you’ve seen the movie, you probably remember the song “Be Our Guest”. This fun song mentions a dish called “the grey stuff”.

“Try the grey stuff, it’s delicious!
Don’t believe me? Ask the dishes!…”

Don’t remember it? This might help.

I have a fun recipe for the grey stuff for you. You’re going to love it, because it’s easy to make and very tasty. Here’s the instructions on how to make it.

Ingredients

  • 1 package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1.5 cups skim milk
  • 15 Oreos (taken apart and with the filling scraped off)
  • 1 container COOL WHIP
  • 3 tbsp instant chocolate pudding mix
  • small edible pearls

Instructions

Pour the contents of the vanilla pudding into a medium size bowl.

Add the milk to the pudding and whisk for 2 minutes until it’s thick.

Add the cookies into a ziploc bag. (I like to use the one with the slider when I’m crushing things because it’s quick and I don’t have to work to close it.) Now, use a rolling pin to break up the cookies until crushed.

Pour the cookie crumbs into the vanilla pudding and mix well.

Fold in the COOL WHIP and stir.

Add in the chocolate pudding and stir.

Put the mixture into the fridge for 1 hour.

Take the piping bag and scoop the grey stuff into it.

Use an icing bag tie to close the top of the bag so that the grey stuff doesn’t come out.

Cut the tip of the piping bag, then pipe the grey stuff into the dessert cups and top with the pearls.

Serve and enjoy!
