Pork Chops Marsala #Recipe

We'd love it if you shared it!

We enjoy pork chops. I got a little tired of the same old, same old pork chops, so I decided to try making them with Marsala. We were very pleased with the results and will definitely be having them again.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups Marsala wine (I used Holland House)
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. butter
  • 8 boneless pork chops
  • 3/4 cup Italian breadcrumbs

INSTRUCTIONS

Place breadcrumbs, flour and Parmesan cheese in large bag.

Place 1-2 pork chops inside the bag. Close the bag or hold it shut at the top, shake to cover the pork chops. Repeat with all pork chops.

In a large skillet brown the pork chops in olive oil. Cook in batches 3 to 5 minutes on each side or until done; reserve drippings in skillet.

Pour the sauce over the pork chops and serve. You might want to place the pork chops over buttered noodles first, if you want to sauce your noodles.

I will try this with marsala which we love. Normally I use one of the sweeter german white wines. Brown the chicken or chops, add perhaps half a cup of wine and just let it simmer off. No sauce, but the flavor that goes into the meat is wonderful.

Mm..sounds pretty good, but I would prefer to use a different wine. I like how it is a simple breading to prepare.
