A couple of days ago I got to go to New York City to visit the set of an upcoming DreamWorks movie called Delivery Man. It stars Vince Vaughn & Cobie Smulders. We had a great time on the set, treated to Vince singing to us between takes. What a hoot! I’m looking forward to seeing this movie in 2013. This is me behind the director’s chair.

Wow, how fun is that to Go to NY and visit a movie set. How lucky you are! My niece was in NY a few days ago also and was an extra on a Ralph Macchio film. I just love to visit NY anyway.
Glad you got to go. Hope you enjoyed NYC Christmastime while there.
That must have been so exciting. Even though I have lived in Southern California all my life, I have never been anywhere near a movie set. We did have an episode of Police Woman filmed in my hometown, but I decided I didn’t want to go. I heard that Angie Dickinson was a pill, but Earl Hollowman was real nice with the kids.
Wow, how lucky! You must have had such a great time, and I’m happy for you! Sounds like an experience to remember!
Come join my WW Linky as well!
Wow, this is awesome! You’re one lucky lady. Must have been really exciting!
Wow, that sounds like so much fun! Congrats! 🙂
you have a great life—enjoy
Cool! I bet that was a lot of fun!
Super! Sounds like you had a wonderful time.
Wow that is really really exciting! I just adore Vince Vaughn! I have always wondered what it would be like to be behind the scenes of a movie. I am sure it is an experience to always remember! How glamorous!
I would have thought glamorous too. Maybe because this was outdoors in the cold, I felt bad for Vince, he was wearing a tshirt and it was really cold, not so glamorous.
Wow how cool! I’ve always wanted to go on a movie set. I bet it was tons of fun!
Lucky you! I’ve always wanted to be or visit a movie set!
How awesome! That sounds like the funnest thing! To go to a set of a movie! My daughter would be in heaven! I’ve always wanted to go to NY. I don’t know if I’m ever going to make it or not!
I’ve been a couple of times, but never for just sightseeing. It’s a big, busy place and admittedly I get a little nervous sometimes when I’m there.
Fun! My cousin used to be VP over at Dreamworks.
Jealous how did you get that opportunity
What a treat that must have been. Love Vince Vaughn. Good for you. When Kate Winslet was filming Little Children in our hometown my daughter who idolizes her was lucky and got to meet Kate. She has to be one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. She made my daughter who was 18 at the time feel so special.

It was a treat, it’s grat to hear your daughter had a positive experience that left good memories too!
How exciting…I am not sure if this is something you regularly get to do BUT I would jump on the chance to visit a studio during film time!
No it was definitely not a regular thing for me, my first time on a live movie set.
I once worked as an extra on the Soloist starring Robert Downey Jr and Jamie Fox but that whole night wound up on the cutting room floor
oh how cool i havent got to visit ny yet or ever been on a movie set but looks like u had a great time
Sounds like you had an awesome time. I was never on a movie set but I have met a lot of celebrities in the streets of Manhattan and Los angeles in the most random of places. We met & spoke horses to Marti Sheen at Santa Ana Racetrack and met & spoke to Mia Farrow at a children’s theater.
This was my first time on a live movie set where they were actually shooting. They really do have to do some things over and over.
How awesome is that! I’m so jealous, Vince is one of my fave actors, he’s so funny!
He was too funny, singing to us between takes!
Wow! Sounds like you had a great time. Can’t wait for the movie to come out! 🙂
I’m really looking forward to this movie!
