Pressure Cooker Dump and Start Creamy Chicken Pasta

Ingredients

1 lb boneless chicken tenders * 1 lb small to medium sized pasta (I used Ronzoni Trio Italiano #77) * 4 cups chicken broth * 1 cup water * 1x can cream of chicken soup * 2 packages Italian dressing mix * 8 oz cream cheese, softened and cut into pieces * 1x 10 oz bag frozen steamable mixed vegetables

Instructions

  1. Plug in the electric pressure cooker. Pour the chicken broth and water into the pot. Place the uncooked pasta into the pot and be sure as much of it as possible is covered with the broth and water. Pour the condensed cream of chicken soup on top of the pasta. Sprinkle the dressing mix on top of the condensed soup. Place the uncooked chicken tenders on top of everything else. You can just put the tenders in there but I prefer to cut the tenders into bite sized pieces. Put the lid onto the pressure cooker and close it to seal. Set the pressure cooker to cook for 5 minuted on manual high pressure. Once the cooking time has completed, do a quick manual pressure release. Put the pieces of cream cheese into the pot and stir. Add the uncooked steamable vegetables to the pot and stir well. Put the lid back onto the pressure cooker and then let sit for 5 minutes, giving time for the vegetables to warm and the cream cheese to melt. Uncover the pressure cooker and stir once more. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
