Chocolate Rum Christmas Truffles
3 cups semi sweet chocolate chips * 1x 14 oz can of sweetened condensed milk * 2 tsp spiced rum * 1 cup Christmas red, green and white nonpareils
Using a double boiler, combine all ingredients except the sprinkles and mix until smooth Place the truffle mixture into a bowl and place it into the fridge for 3 hours. Use a small ice cream scoop to scoop out some of the truffle mixture and roll that into a ball. Pour the sprinkles into a bowl. Roll the truffle into the sprinkles until it's fully coated. Place the truffle onto a parchment paper lined cookie sheet. Repeat the above steps with the remaining truffles. Serve and enjoy!
