Meat Lovers Pasta Sauce
1 lb ground beef * 1 lb ground sausage * 12 oz cooked ham, cut into small cubes or chunks * 3 oz pepperoni, cut into small cubes or chunks * 1/2 cup crumbled bacon * 2x 28 oz cans crushed tomatoes seasoned with basil, garlic and oregano * 2x 28 oz cans diced tomatoes seasoned with basil, garlic and oregano * 2x 6 oz cans tomato paste * 1 cup chicken broth * 1 small onion, peeled and diced * 1 tbsp Italian seasoning * 1 tbsp onion powder * 1 tbsp garlic powder
Place the ground beef and ground sausage into the pressure cooker's pot. Set the pressure cooker on saute. Brown the ground beef and the ground sausage. About halfway through cooking the ground beef and the ground sausage, add the diced onion in as well. While the two meats are cooking, dice the ham and pepperoni. Once the meat and onions have finished browning, add in the remainder of the ingredients and stir well. Press the pressure cook time button and set it for 20 minutes. Once the pressure cooker has finished its cooking cycle, let the pressure release naturally. Serve over your favorite pasta. I like to store the leftovers in large quart sized glass jars, so they're easy to use on another day that week. I've used this sauce on pastas, which I did mention earlier and I'm sure you guessed from the photos. I've also used it to make a Meaty Tomato Soup and a tomato mac and cheese.
