Santa Belly Oreos
1 package of double stuffed oreos * 2 bags red candy melts * 4 tsp coconut oil * 3 egg whites * 1/2 tsp cream of tarter * 4 cups powdered sugar * red, ivory, black, and golden yellow food coloring
Use a double boiler to melt the candy melts until they are smooth. Mix in the coconut oil to thin out the candy melts. Use a fork to dip the oreos into the chocolate, making sure the cookies are fully coated. Place the oreos onto a cookie sheet and let dry for an hour. While the oreos are drying, use the mixer to combine the egg whites, cream of tarter, and powdered sugar and mix on medium speed until stiff peaks form, which takes about 7 minutes. Split the icing into 5 bowls. Leave one of the bowls white, add in a color to the remaining bowls. Scoop the contents of each bowl of frosting into separate piping bags. Once oreos are dry, use the ivory icing to pipe Santa's belly and fill it in. Use the red icing to pipe a line around the edge of the oreo and around the belly of the oreo and fill it in. Use the black icing to pipe on a thick line above santa's belly from the belt of Santa's suit. Use the yellow icing to pipe on a yellow square in the center of the black line. Use the ivory icin to add a dot in the middle of the belly for the belly button. Use the white icing to add white dots above Santa's belly for the fur on his suit. Let stand for another hour for the icing to dry before serving. Enjoy!
