Pressure Cooker Cinnamon Chip Cake

EQUIPMENT NEEDED - 6-qt electric pressure cooker, 7" bundt pan, silicone vegetable steamer, large glass mixing bowl, measuring cups

Ingredients

1 box butter yellow cake mix • 1/2 cup cinnamon chips • cinnamon • brown sugar • powdered sugar, optional for topping when serving • nonstick cooking spray • 1 cup water

Instructions

Place 1 cup of water into the pot. Place the cake mix into a medium sized mixing bowl. Prepare the cake mix according to the instructions on the box. (Don’t cook it.) Add in the cinnamon chips and stir. Spray the bundt pan with noncooking spray. Pour the cake mixture into the bundt pan. Place the bundt pan onto the trivet and place them both into the pot. Place the lid onto the pressure cooker and close to seal. Cook on manual high pressure for 40 minutes. Do a 15 minute natural pressure release, then a quick pressure release. Let cake cool for 10 minutes before removing from the pan. Sprinkle with powdered sugar when serving if you like.
