Instant Pot Turkey Stuffed Peppers

5 medium-large green bell peppers, hollowed and seeded * 1 pound ground turkey * 1 cup cooked white rice * 1/3 cup Italian breadcrumbs * 1/2 cup cheddar pasta sauce * 1/2 cup onion, minced * 1 egg, beaten * 2 tbsp garlic powder * 2 tbsp dried parsley flakes * 2 tbsp black pepper * 1-2 tsp chili powder, depending on how much flavor you want to add * 1/2 cup water

Cut the tops off of the peppers and then hollow them out and remove the seeds. Place the ground turkey, cooked rice, bread crumbs and seasonings into a bowl. Add the egg to the bowl and combine thoroughly. Add the 1/2 cup of sauce to the bowl and mix thoroughly. Divide the mixture equally amongst the 5 peppers. Place the water into the bottom of the pot. Place the trivet onto the bottom of the pot. Take the 5 uncooked stuffed peppers and place them onto the trivet in a standing position with the open stuffed ends on the top. Place a teaspoon of cheddar sauce on the top of each pepper. Place the lid on the Instant Pot and close to seal. Set the Instant Pot to cook on manual high pressure for 15 minutes. Once the cooking cycle has finished, allow pressure to release naturally for at least 5 minutes before doing a quick pressure release. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
