gladiator boots
Have you ever seen gladiator shoes? What about gladiator boots?  I know they are very fashionable right now, but I just don’t like the way they look. To each their own but they’re just not for me. When an acquaintance from Make Me Chic offered me some tips on how to wear gladiator boots during the summer, I accepted them knowing there are likely some of my readers that do like the style. The folks at Make Me Chic know about style, they are an internet retailer that carries the latest fashions at competitive prices. They carry items including apparel, accessories, handbags, swimwear, costumes and lingerie and pride themselves on their customer service. So, without further adieu, here’s what she’s got to say about wearing gladiator boots during the summer.
Obsessed with Gladiator Boots: We’ll Teach You How to Wear them this Summer
For every outfit, gladiator boots with heels are definite head-turners. We’ve seen celebrities such as Kourtney Kardashian wearing these boots, but of course a regular girl can’t afford designer pieces when she’s still in school (unless your parents are just plain rich).
Boots are normally worn in fall and winter, but gladiator boots are an exception to wear during summer. With their cut out or strappy style, it’s easy to pair them with clothes that are summer-friendly. How do you dress up such ensemble? Here’s how.
1. Choose a pair of gladiator boots. Start with your center piece. For this instance, it’s got to be your pair of gladiators. Whether you choose white, black or brown, make sure they fit you well. We recommend Evaxmf-1 Lace Up Cut Out Gladiator Heels, known for the cutout and lace up design. What makes them even more feminine is the stiletto heel with a height of 4.25 inch. It’s the best show stopping pair you’ll find in your closet.

2. Next, pick a pair of Bermuda shorts or a pencil cut skirt that falls above your knees. Bermuda shorts are great, casual bottoms because they look classy and casual all at the same time. You can even find a denim ripped version of it just like Kourtney if you like a little attitude on your outfit. But if you’re on the more feminine side, a pencil skirt will do you good. This Sweet Vintage Crochet Skirt comes with an embroidered flower and paisley overlay for that subtle yet feminine effect.

3. Pick a bright, crop top for your summer style. Since it’s the season of warm weather and blazing sun, choose a top that makes you feel comfortable under the sun. This Textured X cut out crop top will let you last all day under the sun with its silky textured material. Its design is also flattering on your figure: V-neckline with a V cut out at the front and back. It just sits right above the waistband of your skirt or shorts so you’ll get an image of an elongated waist.

4. A pair of earrings goes a long way in looking fabulous. Pick chandelier earrings, especially when you have a pixie cut hair. This will not only bring a feminine touch to your face but will also add some color to your outfit. These stone spikes chandelier earrings are perfect for a casual, girly outfit. You can match the color with mint or turquoise colored eyeliner during the day.
5. Finally, cap off the look with a handbag. Handbags should be part of your daily ensemble because they not only bring a fashion-worthy sense but they keep your belongings intact most importantly. Since you’re rocking your gladiator boots look, better if you carry a clutch so it’s handy. We’re recommending this Rectangular Magazine Clutch to brighten up your ensemble. Hold it, or let it hang on your shoulders nicely with its chain straps carefully tucked inside.

I am always afraid if I wore them I would look even shorter than I am, though I think I am about the same height as Kourtney… ha! So maybe I should give them a try. Thanks for the post and the push!

I’ve never seen gladiator boots before! These are fabulous and sexy but not sure that I could pull it off on my matronly frame.
