Jamyce Lee was a guest co-host for the Hot Topics segment. She won the spot in a “Living the Dream” contest. Her dream was to be on The View. I thought she did a really great job.

Yay, Joy wasn’t in all black today! The red jacket really complemented her hair. Sherri looked great in black, very flattering. Elisabeth was in a purple dress that I really liked the color of. Whoopi looked comfortable and casual in a white shirt, it was far from tight but nowhere near as loose as some of the things she’s worn.

A clip from the Sex And The City 2 movie was on and it got a conversation going about children that eventually turned to the topic of working moms. Elisabeth, you’re right. Working moms do lose! While I totally don’t feel guilty for going to work – it keeps the roof over the head and the food in the mouth –  I do feel like I miss a lot.

Russel Brand from the movie Get Em To The Greek was a guest. I haven’t seen the movie and didn’t know who he was. He’s a very energetic man who was quick to find humor. I found myself giggling on and off during his segment at his jokes, some sexual and some not. I thought Whoopi was going to fall off the couch at one point because of a sexual remark he said. Check it out.

Jennie Garth still looks great. She’s married to Peter Facinelli, an actor I have thought was adorable since back in his Fast Lane days. Jennie thinks family dinners are important – I agree. Her husband travels a lot so they Skype at dinner. Jennie is working with Hidden Valley Ranch. She thinks kids need and should have veggies and parents should get them to eat them any way they can.

Spike Mendelsohn, author of The Good Stuff Cookbook, was also a guest. During his segment he demonstrated how to make “the best” burgers as well as some shakes. The burgers looked good, they made my mouth water a bit. Whoopi seemed hungry too, I liked her enthusiasm.

What we wear is mostly a matter of personal preference or someone else’s whom we try to please. I’d rather hear more about the ladies’ reasoning and logic. The clothes will speak for themselves to me at least.
