Spider Crackers

Spider Crackers are a fun Halloween snack that’s perfect for an after school treat, movie night, game night fun, family get togethers and entertaining. The base of these adorable little treats is Ritz crackers. A layer of pumpkin spice cream cheese spread between the crackers works as a glue that hold the pretzel legs in place. Topped with candy eyes, the only thing you’ll fear when serving these treats is that you won’t get one. Here’s how to make Spider Crackers.

Equipment Needed

  • knife

Ingredients

  • 2 Ritz crackers per spider you are making
  • pumpkin spice cream cheese
  • candy eyes per spider you are making
  • pretzel sticks

Variations

One of the really fun things about this snack is that you can change it up to suit your taste.

If you want a more savory snack, use peanut butter instead of cream cheese. Another alternative to layer between the crackers is hummus.

You can change the look and flavor by using chow mein noodles instead of pretzels.

For a different look, you could use raisins or mini chocolate chips instead of candy eyes.
