I love Golden Grahams. They have always been one of my favorite cold cereals. I used them to make some treat bars recently. Making these bars is just like making rice krispies treats except you change the cereal and add chocolate chips. Here’s how I made them.
- 10 oz bag mini marshmallows
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 12 oz Golden Grahams cereal
- 6 tbsp butter
Spray 11×9 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
Place the marshmallows and butter into a large bowl. Microwave according to instructions until melting. Stir well.
Add the cereal into the bowl and stir.
Add the chocolate chips and stir.
Place the marshmallow cereal mixture into the baking pan and flatten using a large spoon.
Chill for 15 minutes to cool and solidify a little.
Cut treats into bars.
