I have always loved the characters from Sesame Street. I am not sure if it is because I was practically raised on Sesame Street, or if it was always their soft and cuddly looking fur. (well except for Oscar, he always looked dirty from being in the garbage can).

Cookie Monster is a very loveable monster. I think because his blue thick fur and googly type eyes just make you want to hug him. His speech being like a caveman type of speech also helps.

There is an all-new cookie museum in town and your favorite furry friends are excited to start exploring! Cookie Monster leads the pack in this nail-biting, cookie-munching thriller that guest stars Rachel Dratch of Saturday Night Live fame and celebrates the arts. Sesame Street: The Cookie Thief is a fun, action-packed special in which Cookie Monster explores self-regulation concept-such as impulse control, following directions, and managing emotions.

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment and Sesame Workshop, will release Sesame Street: The Cookie Thief on DVD March 1, 2016 for $14.98 SRP. This features over 2 hours of Cookie Monster Fun. You can purchase on Amazon or Walmart on March 1, so mark the date on your calendar.

Henson’s Muppet creations were pure genius. Too bad his life was cut short.

I love sesame street too, our family just watched the documentary “I am Big Bird” not to long ago… loved that. Sesame Street: The Cookie Thief would make a great gift for my nephew for his birthday!

My kids are too old for Sesame Street. However they both learned so much watching that show. As did I at that age! Thanks for sharing.
