Budget-friendly and easy to fix, hot and bubbly casseroles are a busy family’s dream come true. With most coming together in under an hour, a scrumptious, quick and filling meal is only minutes away with this new book from Gooseberry Patch, the latest addition to its bestselling photo cookbook series. Alongside each recipe is a tantalizing, full-color photo that is sure to get mouths watering and tastebuds tingling.
“If there’s one thing we absolutely love, it’s a delicious, hot and bubbly casserole. It’s the very definition of comfort food…just pop one in the oven and in no time you’ve got a marvelous meal in a flash!” says Jo Ann Martin, co-founder of Gooseberry Patch, an independent cookbook publisher located in Ohio’s heartland.
“101 Cozy Casseroles is stuffed full of our readers’ favorite, tried & true casserole recipes that we know folks are going to love,” says Vickie Hutchins, co-founder of Gooseberry Patch.”Each recipe is paired with a beautiful, full-color photo, so cooks know just what to expect.”
Filled with easy-to-make dishes like Mexican Lasagna, Reuben Casserole and Oodles of Noodles Chili Bake, busy cooks will always have the perfect recipe at hand for the next family meal, potluck or special occasion.

I received a copy of Gooseberry Patch 101 Cozy Casseroles. The cookbook is broken into four sections – Quick to Fix Casseroles, Mom’s Favorite Casseroles, Potluck Perfect Casseroles, and Hot & Bubbly sides. As with the other cookbooks in this series, each and every recipe is accompanied by a great color photo. Some of them might even make your mouth water a little. The recipes are all clearly written and easy to understand. Truthfully, the only thing missing to make this cookbook perfect is cooking and prep time. Recipes I’m looking forward to trying include Chicken Kiev Casserole, Oodles of Noodles Chili Bake, Chicken Broccoli Divan, Sweet Corn & Rice Casserole, Pierogie Casserole, and Fabulous Baked Potato Casserole, amongst others. This cookbook would be great for people looking to expand their recipe collection with easy to make casseroles.
