Capri Sun package

We always have juice pouches in our house for CJ. Capri Sun is probably the juice most frequently found in our house. Why? Because it’s affordable and there are a lot of tasty varieties. Did you know that Capri Sun has a 100% juice pouch, aptly named Capri Sun 100% Juice? Or that they offer a flavored water, named Roarin Waters?

It’s the 100% fruit juice kids love, in a 100% cooler pouch — but 100% more fun to drink!

* fruit punch
* berry
* apple
* grape
* citrus

Plain water’s got nothing on this stuff. Light fruit flavors make this water super fun to drink. (And the cool pouch helps, too.) Find it in the juice aisle.

* tropical fruit
* wild cherry
* strawberry kiwi
* grape
* berry

I received samples of both Roarin Waters and 100% Juice. Some kids don’t like water, or perhaps it’s only the idea of drinking water. But kids do seem to love pouch drinks, they think they’re fun. I love that this is a low calorie option for kids that’s tasty, and that they’ll like drinking it. I tasted it and found the lightly flavored water to be tasty, with enough flavor that kids will not dismiss it as plain old water. The 100% Juice is made of all natural juice. I love that the juice contains one full serving of fruit and has no artificial colors or flavors and no preservatives. The fruit punch flavor is really tasty, I had a glass of it over ice and really enjoyed it. CJ loves them both.

One of the reasons we usually have pouches instead of boxes is because they’re smaller and take less room in the trash. I learned that TerraCycle and the Drink Pouch Brigade program you can actually recycle juice pouches into other things such as tote bags and pencil cases. The TerraCycle Drink Pouch Brigade program allows almost any school, non-profit organization or individual to save drink pouches from taking up space in landfills. TerraCycle will pay $0.02 per drink pouch to the charity, school or non-profit organization of your choice. Now I think that’s cool! What a great way to recycle something I didn’t even know you could recycle, and teach kids that they can make a difference.
