School starts in two weeks. Fall and cooler weather approaches. No better time to start thinking about new recipes to try in the crockpot if you ask me. I find the more that I use my crockpot the better dishes come out. Cooking with a slow cooker is a great way to save time and work. You can prep some things the night before, turn the slow cooker on in the morning or early afternoon and dinner will be done in a few hours. The Best of Bridge Slow Cooker Cookbook has 200 recipes just for the slow cooker.

I received a copy of the Best Of Bridge Slow Cooker Cookbook.

The beginning of each chapter contains a list of the recipes within that chapter. The beginning of the book contains some information and tips on choosing a slow cooker, prep and cooking. The recipes are all easy to understand, and include cooking time. many of the recipes also include tips on specific ingredients or prep. There are only about two dozen photos in the cookbook, but the photos that are in there are excellent. The only two things I could suggest for this cookbook to make it better would be more pictures (there are only about two dozen) and to put tabs on the chapters to make it easier to flip to the section you want quickly. This cookbook would be great for anyone just learning how to use a slow cooker, or people that have a slow cooker and want to add more recipes to their collection.
