Recently I was offered the opportunity to try out some new BIC Soleil Disposable Razors. Being as it’s the beginning of summer and I’m no longer wearing jeans, I’m guessing word got out that I don’t shave my legs often during the winter. By the way, I’ll be kicking my hubby’s butt for leaking that secret later, with one of my recently shaven legs. If you hear him calling for help please disregard. Back to the subject at hand.
Shaving. I don’t like it. It’s a pain in the butt. You can’t do it properly in a hurry. I always nick myself at least once, and well, it stings and I don’t like that. I have found that the more blades the razor has the better I usually find the shave to be. Soleil Bella Disposable Razors have four flexible blades that I found rinse off very nicely, no need to bang the razor on the side of the tub to get the hair out. The curved, non-slip handle is both comfortable and easy to hold. The razor has a built-in moisture strip that is enriched with coconut milk, which is good for the skin. One package of BIC Soleil Bella contains three razors. I liked the Soleil Bella razors, and will likely stock up on them when they are on sale.
What I really want to tell you about is the BIC Soleil Shave & Trim Disposable Razors. These bad boys.
BIC Soleil Shave & Trim is a disposable razor with a built-in Vitamin E lubricating strip that comes with a bikini trimmer guard. Basically it’s a razor with a pivoting head containing three flexible blades that comes with this guard you can slide on and off which allows you to determine how close you wish to shave your bikini area.
If you’re at all like me, and I doubt I’m the only one, I view bikini shaving sort of like a golf course in New Jersey (where I live, coincidentally). Noone sees the course much during the winter, so it isn’t well maintained. The course is challenging, with hills and even a waterway of sorts. Come summer time, lots of grass trimming and cutting occurs, because noone wants to actually see or play on a poorly manicured course – they want to see a course with at best a fairway and a green. That’s where the bikini trimmer guard comes in, because it allows you to choose how close you want your bikini area shave to be. What I love about this is it actually is so easy to use and does such a good job that I’m not afraid to keep up with things. And that makes everyone happy. Me, hubby, the plumber who isn’t dealing with my calls about clogged drains, neighbors with frightened small children – you get the picture.
I love that the razor has a rubber grip handle, because in all likelihood the last place you want to have your hand slip is while you’re in the shower shaving your bikini area. One package of BIC Soleil Shave & Trim Disposable Razors includes three disposable razors and one bikini trim guard. I absolutely love this razor and will definitely be buying them in the future.
