Easy Red White And Blue Pudding Pie

I make pudding pie often. It’s super easy and is guaranteed to hit the spot if you’re in a pudding mood. I like to make layers with the pudding. I thought I would make a pudding pie with red, white and blue layers. The pie tastes great, it’s a no-brainer and impossible to screw up. The colors, well, those I am not so pleased with. My red is more of a pink and my blue is sort of blue-ish. There’s nothing wrong with it, but I am not really pleased with the colors. If you have any tips on how to get the coloring to work out better I welcome them. Here’s how I made it.

Easy Red White And Blue Pudding Pie

INGREDIENTS

  • 1x graham cracker pie crust (I used a store bought crust)
  • 2x 1.85 oz boxes instant vanilla pudding
  • 3 cups milk

INSTRUCTIONS

Mix the pudding with the milk in a large bowl.

Divide the pudding into three equal portions. (I used large dixie cups for this.)

In the first cup, add 20 drops of blue food coloring to the pudding and mix well.

In the second cup, add 20 drops of red food coloring to the pudding and mix well.

Leave the third cup as is.

Pour the blue colored pudding into the bottom of the pie crust.

Pour the plain vanilla pudding on top of the blue pudding and smooth.

Pour the red colored pudding on top of the white pudding and smooth.

Refrigerate for at least one hour before serving.
