In this Pressure Cooker Ravioli With Ham And Cheese recipe, melted cheese surrounds the ravioli and ham, making for a simple yet easy comfort food meal.
Pressure Cooker Ravioli With Ham And Cheese
Think of how many times you’ve eaten ravioli. I bet most of those times that the ravioli had red sauce on it, for a few of you maybe butter. Hubby isn’t always in the mood for red sauce and I’m not usually looking for ravioli with butter so I decided to try making it some other ways. I added ham to this recipe to give the dish flavor and to make it more of a complete meal. The ravioli and ham are covered in melted cheese, making it an easy comfort food meal that adults and children will both enjoy. Preparing the meal in an electric pressure cooker saves you time and energy as you don’t have to stand over the stove. using an electric pressure cooker also means you aren’t heating up he house by using the stove.
Here’s how I make Pressure Cooker Ravioli With Ham And Cheese.
Equipment Needed
- electric pressure cooker (I used a 6 qt Zavor LUX LCD)
- silicone cooking spoon
- measuring cup
- knife
- cutting board
Ingredients
- 2x 12 oz bags mini round cheese ravioli (I used Italian Village)
- 2.5 cups chicken broth
- 1-2x 8 oz boneless ham steak (I used Hatfield Hickory Smoked)
- 8oz shredded cheddar cheese (I used Kraft Creamy Melt Triple Cheddar)
Instructions
Plug the electric pressure cooker in.
Pour the broth into the pot.
Add the ravioli to the pot. Try to cover as much of the ravioli as possible with the broth.
Place the ham into the pot on top of the ravioli.
Put the lid onto the pressure cooker and close to seal.
Set the pressure cooker to cook for 3 minutes on manual high pressure.
Once the cooking time has finished, do a quick pressure release.
Add the shredded cheese to the pot.
Stir the contents of the pot until the cheese has melted.
Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
Enjoy!
