Pressure Cooker Dump And Start Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta features pasta with chunks of chicken, bacon and diced tomatoes smothered in a creamy ranch sauce.
Hello! So I’m still recovering from foot surgery. I’m only partial weightbearing now, which means I’m not allowed to put my full weight or much pressure on my right foot. I’m in a big, heavy boot almost all of the time. While it’s a little easier to get around now then a week ago when I was only on the knee scooter, it’s still a challenge to do am lot in the kitchen. As a result of these things. Between that and the heat I’ve been making quite a few dump and start meals in the pressure cooker. I’m sharing another one of these recipes with you today.
Pressure Cooker Dump And Start Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta is an easy comfort food recipe featuring pasta with chunks of chicken, bacon and diced tomatoes smothered in a creamy ranch sauce. This simple recipe can be made in about 30 minutes if you have some already cooked bacon, or you can make the bacon fresh and the meal will take a little longer. Please note if you are cooking the bacon in the pressure cooker this won’t technically be a dump and start meal, but it will still be easy to make.
Here’s how I make Pressure Cooker Dump And Start Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta.

Equipment Needed
- electric pressure cooker (I used a 6 qt Zavor LUX LCD)
- measuring cup
- measuring spoons
- silicone cooking spoon
Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless chicken tenders
- 1 lb small to medium sized pasta (I used mini farfalle)
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup water
- 1x 22.6 oz can cream of chicken soup
- 9 tsp ranch seasoning mix
- 3 tsp Italian seasoning
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened and cut into pieces
- 1x 28 oz can petite diced tomatoes, drained
- 1 lb thick cut bacon
Instructions
Plug in the electric pressure cooker.
Go to the next step if you have some already cooked bacon, either that you bought or made yourself. If you don’t have some already cooked bacon you have one of two options. The first option is to cook the bacon in the oven right now. The second option is to cut the bacon strips into pieces, turn the pressure cooker on to saute and cook the bacon. Once the bacon is cooked, set it aside and continue to the next step. The pressure cooker’s pot should now be empty.
Pour the chicken broth and water into the pot.
Place the uncooked pasta into the pot and be sure as much of it as possible is covered with the broth and water.
Pour the condensed cream of chicken soup on top of the pasta.
Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix and Italian seasoning on top of the condensed soup.
Place the uncooked chicken tenders on top of everything else. You can just put the tenders in there but I prefer to cut the tenders into bite sized pieces.
Put the drained diced tomatoes on top of the chicken.
Put the lid onto the pressure cooker and close it to seal.
Set the pressure cooker to cook for 5 minuted on manual high pressure.
Once the cooking time has completed, do a quick manual pressure release.
Add the cooked bacon to the pot and stir.
Put the pieces of cream cheese into the pot and stir.
Put the lid back onto the pressure cooker and then let sit for 5 minutes, giving time for the cream cheese to melt.
Uncover the pressure cooker.
Give the contents of the pot a final good stir.
Serve immediately.
Enjoy!
