There are many times in the summer where we’d like to have a cute little treat or dessert. But, we don’t always want to actually start baking and heating up the kitchen on most summer days. These No-Bake Burger Cookies are fun to look at and easy to make. There’s no cooking or baking required at all. It doesn’t get much simpler than that! Here’s instructions on how to make them.

Equipment Needed

  • large ziploc bag
  • baking sheet
  • parchment paper

Ingredients

  • 1 box of Nilla wafer cookies
  • 1 container of grasshopper cookies
  • 1 tube of red cookie icing
  • 1 tube of yellow cookie icing
  • 1 bag of sweetened shredded coconut
  • 2-3 drops of green food coloring

Instructions

Put some coconut into a ziploc bag, along with the green food coloring.

Shake the bag until the coconut is completely green.

Make pairs of Nilla wafer cookies.

Using a baking sheet, place one cookie upside down and a second cookie rightside up just above it.

Place a grasshopper cookie on top of each of the bottom cookies.

Drizzle red icing on the top of the grasshopper cookie.

Drizzle the yellow icing on top of the red icing going the opposite way.

Place some of the dyed coconut on top of the icing.

Add a small dot of any one of the icings onto the bottom of one of the top cookies, then place the top cookie on top of the coconut.

Repeat with the remainder of the cookies until all of the pairs are together.

Let sit for 30 minutes to harden before enjoying!

    I honestly thought they were real burgers at first , silly me. They look amazing, and the sound of no-bake makes them even more delicious. Definitely, the kind of cookies kids would love. And grown-ups too.
