Build your Dream Mansion with Hasbro’s Monopoly Millionaire Online Experience
Have you ever dreamed of building a luxurious home on the Champs-Elysee, in the middle of Central Park or along the shore at Bondi Beach? Wherever your dream location may be, Hasbro is inviting MONOPOLY fans everywhere to build virtual mansions in locations around the world through the new MONOPOLY MILLIONARE online experience.
Logging in at http://mansions.monopoly.com/, players can try their hand at the world of luxury real estate by building and customizing virtual mansions. Similar to the new MONOPOLY MILLIONAIRE game from Hasbro, players upgrade their lifestyle as they progress through the experience and unlock blinged-out accessories. The online experience includes such fun and outlandish accessories as stadiums, planetariums, garden mazes and water slides.
The online experience is built on the Google Maps API and will allow for players to snap up properties around the world. However, it’s first come, first served when it comes to grabbing highly-desirable locations, so real estate moguls are advised to move quickly. For all of us would-be millionaires looking to build the perfect mansion in that prime location, whether virtually or in real life, luxury real estate mogul, Barbara Corcoran, has provided some additional tips to keep in mind:
Building at the water’s edge is always a plus! Ocean, lake, or river, building next to a body of water immediately adds 30% more value to your mansion.
A hot downtown with pricy shops, trendy restaurants, and nightlife plumps up the value of your home. Just make sure you build your mansion at least a half a mile away.
Did George Washington or Napoleon stay there once? Or did a famous book or movie take place in the home? That gives you bragging rights. Historic fun facts always equal dollar signs!
Don’t stray too far from an airport. Rich people like to jet off in their private planes, and being more than an hour away is a royal inconvenience. Mansion builders should always consider the proximity to air travel.
Million dollar views are million dollar views for a reason. They’re worth millions!
In the online experience, players begin by choosing plots of land on which to build their mansions, adding accessories and inviting friends to visit their virtual homes. As players add accessories, answer trivia questions, share their mansions with friends, and invite them to join the experience, they are able to level up and unlock new mansion designs and accessories. The online experience includes 203 billion plots of land on which to build, along with 22 different mansion designs and 74 mansion accessories, giving players numerous combinations to customize their experience.

Providing Much-Needed Meals and Helping Homeless Pets Is Just a Click Away
MASON, OHIO (Oct. 1, 2012) – The Iams Home 4 the Holidays pet adoption drive enters its 14th year and remains focused on raising awareness of pet adoption while also ensuring proper nutrition for more homeless pets this year. With just the click of a button, anyone can participate in the all-new Digital Dish Drive, an online food donation program that allows everyone an easy way to get involved. The campaign, which runs Oct. 1, 2012 through Jan. 2, 2013, is a partnership between Iams and Helen Woodward Animal Center to give more orphaned pets a fresh start through loving homes and good nutrition.
“Shelters and rescues around the country are overflowing with great adoptable animals awaiting forever homes,” said Mike Arms, founder of the adoption drive and president of Helen Woodward Animal Center. “Last year a tiny, starved Chihuahua/dachshund was brought into a shelter, weighing maybe one pound soaking wet, and very cold and miserable. The shelter helped nurse her back to health and she was adopted by a wonderful couple that fell in love with her and named her Baby. Stories like these show us the importance of promoting pet adoption and how a program like Iams Home 4 the Holidays can make a huge difference in the life of a pet.”
There are many new and simple ways to get involved in the campaign this year from joining the Iams Facebook community to help feed homeless pets to adopting an animal from a local shelter. New and simple ways consumers can make a difference include:
Digital Dish Drive – New this year, Iams will feature a different dog and cat available for adoption on the Iams Facebook page (www.facebook.com/Iams), beginning Oct. 1, and during scheduled “feeding” times each day, every “Like” or “Share” will result in a meal donation to a participating shelter.
Iams Lifelong Rewards – Join the Iams community by mobile sign up at www.Iams.com or at a participating pet adoption center when you adopt your new family member. For every sign up, Iams will donate food to a homeless pet awaiting adoption.
Bags 4 Bowls – For every specially marked package of Iams pet food purchased during the campaign, Iams will donate one bowl of food to a participating Iams Home 4 the Holidays animal organization.
Find Adoptable Pets Near You – To find a participating animal shelter or rescue near you, visit home4theholidays.org.
Each year Iams and Helen Woodward Animal Center work to ensure that Iams Home 4 the Holidays is reaching people in new and unique ways to generate widespread awareness for pet homelessness. Last year alone, 1.2 million pets were adopted during the holiday campaign and an estimated 5 million meals were donated to pets in need.
“With as many as 7 million orphaned pets in the U.S., this campaign is a wonderful platform to raise awareness about pet homelessness,” said Ondrea Francy, Iams general manager. “This year Iams and Helen Woodward Animal Center are looking to donate more bowls of food than ever before to orphaned pets; last year we gave 5 million meals to animal organizations and we’re looking to exceed that goal this year!”
As part of the campaign kick-off, Iams employees will celebrate the three-month pet adoption drive with their annual Paws 4 a Cause event at Circle Tail, a pet shelter outside of Cincinnati, OH. More than 300 volunteers from Iams and other P&G Pet Care brands will donate almost 2,400 man hours to give this shelter a much needed makeover and shine the spotlight on the many wonderful animals waiting to be adopted and the shelters that care for them.

Along with the free take-home kits for women, the screening program includes free in-Club tests* for both men and women valued at up to $150, to include:
Thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) screenings to test for potential women’s health issues due to issues with thyroid functionality
Prostate-specific antigen (PSA) screenings to test for signs of prostate cancer in men
Blood pressure
Body mass index (BMI)
Total cholesterol
High-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol
Vision testing/screening**
“Many health issues affecting women often do not show symptoms and can be identified only with testing,” said Jill Turner-Mitchael, senior vice president, Sam’s Club Health and Wellness. “For the second year in a row, Sam’s Club is committed to offering free screenings and kits that lift awareness of important women’s health concerns like breast cancer to better serve the communities in which we live and work.”
