Here at the Jersey shore we’re on day two of digging out from under 20 inches of snow. We received the call yesterday that school today was canceled. So, while the adults have been shoveling, many of the kids have been playing in the snowdrifts. Watching kids make snow angels and snow forts, and seeing the snowball fights is a blast. The joy on the children’s faces is just wonderful to see. A good winter snowfall may make for a lot of shoveling, but it also makes for lots of memories and milestones.
As parents we tend to remember the milestones, and often times we like to share them. There’s a photo contest taking place right now that celebrates milestones – the Life Stages Milestone Moments Photo Contest.
It’s super easy to enter the Life Stages Milestone Moments Photo Contest. First, you upload the picture you’ve chosen to Facebook. You can also import a photo from Instagram if you prefer. Your photo will need to include a caption that answers, “My child’s milestone moment of 2015 is…” That’s all that you need to do to enter. Once you’ve entered, you can vote for your photo. You can vote every day, and your family and friends can vote as well. This month’s contest ends 1/31/15 11:59 PM EST. There are a total of three $100 cash prize winners.
Life insurance is something most of us know deep down inside that we need, but also something that most of us push aside until later. We get wrapped up in celebrating the special moments happening today and not thinking about tomorrow. Life Stages contains helpful information on planning for the future – your future and your child’s. The site is a great place for sharing life’s special moments and helping families plan for the future. You can learn more about Life Stages online at http://life-stages.org.
