Kraft Fresh Take - From Val's Kitchen

As you may know, I’ve been participating in the #KraftFreshTake Recipe Challenge. Basically, Kraft Foods invited me, along with several other bloggers, to participate in the Fresh Take Flavor Makers program, a program where participants are challenged to create different meals using one Kraft Fresh Take variety. Each blogger was challenged to Make Something Amazing with #KraftFreshTake. For my challenge I was assigned to come up with recipes using the Kraft Fresh Take Classic Four Cheese variety. The Classic Four Cheese variety is a mixture of Colby, Cheddar, Monterey Jack and Mozzarella cheeses – four of my favorites.

For the first part of the challenge I made Cheesy Chicken With Bacon Ranch Pasta Salad. I wanted a dish that tasted good hot as well as cold, since part of the challenge required the dish to be packable. I also wanted it to be versatile enough to eat for dinner or on a picnic.

For the second part of the challenge I made Cheesy Chicken Stuffed Peppers. This challenge called for the inclusion of several colors while only using four ingredients.

Coming up with these recipes was a lot of fun. For inspiration I thought of things that are fresh. Fresh foods, fresh fruit, fresh flowers, fresh bread, fresh children – to name but a few. I also thought of different foods that I have either tried with Kraft Fresh Take Classic Four Cheese or want to try with it.

I would start with the four cheese just to see how much I like it. If I do, I would move on to more fancy flavors.
