Jolie Children's Ravioli

I love ravioli. Actually everyone in my house does. I almost always have a few bags of frozen ravioli stored away in our old freezer. Recently I learned of Jolie Ravioli, which is a children’s ravioli. We got to check some out and we were really pleased.

I’d never seen a children’s ravioli in stores before, so I found Jolie Ravioli fascinating and fun. Jolie Ravioli are the only children’s ravioli on the market today that have kid friendly fun shapes. The shapes are named Rocky the Rocket Ship, Cooper the Car, Buddy the Bear, Daisy the Dinosaur, Hailey the Heart and Stella the Star.

Jolie Children's Ravioli

Not only do Jolie Ravioli come in fun shapes, but they come in different flavors too. One flavor is Traditional Cheese made with 100% whole milk ricotta cheese. The other three flavors are Cheese & Broccoli, Pizza-roli’s and Mac & Cheezy, each of which is made with low fat ricotta cheese.

Jolie Ravioli are made with non GMO flour, are trans-fat free and made without additives, preservatives or artificial colors. Now mot of that information won’t impress children, that’s the sort of information that some adults pay attention to. I believe that when it comes to food kids care about what it looks like and what it tastes like. One afternoon I found myself unexpectedly watching my nephew Alex. it was lunchtime. I asked Alex if he would try some ravioli, he said he would. I told him that there was a broccoli and cheese flavor and he said he wanted that. Yes, my two year old nephew loves broccoli. So I cooked it up. It didn’t take very long. Wanting to keep things simple so that we could both see how it tasted, I simply boiled the ravioli and served it with a little bit of butter.

Jolie Children's Ravioli

Alex couldn’t get tear his attention away from his plate, and had two servings. I had some as well. I thought it was really tasty. I’d absolutely eat it myself, and I’m far from being a child. I will be looking for Jolie Ravioli in my grocery store, because it’s important that a good aunt have yummy food for her handsome nephew.

I would try the Traditional Cheese since it’s made with whole milk. That’s how I buy all my cheeses if possible 🙂 They have such cute shapes!
