Hot Fudge Cheesecake Bars

Makes 12 – 15 bars depending on the size you cut them

These Hot Fudge Cheesecake Bars will please any chocolate lover! They pair perfectly with milk or coffee and make for a decadently delicious dessert or treat.

Equipment Needed

Crust Ingredients

  • 1 package of Dark Chocolate Oreos, crushed (approximately 36 cookies)
  • 6 tbsp unsalted sweet cream butter, melted
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt

Cheesecake Filling Ingredients

  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Hershey cocoa powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 cup hot fudge sauce

Chocolate Ganache Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream

Topping

1/2 c. chopped Oreos, for garnish

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 325.

Line a 9×13 baking dish with parchment paper.

Place the crushed Oreos, melted butter and salt into a medium sized bowl and mix until combined.

Press the Oreo mixture into the baking dish.

Place the the cream cheese, sugar, brown sugar, and cocoa powder into a mixing bowl and use a hand mixer to mix until combined

Add in the eggs one at a time, beating until combined after each egg.

Beat in the vanilla and salt until combined.

Pour the batter over the crust.

Bake in the oven for 40 – 50 minutes or until the center slightly jiggles.

Allow to cool completely.

Place the heavy whipping cream into a small pot and bring it to a slight boil.

Add the chocolate chips into a medium size heat-proof bowl.

Add the heavy whipping cream to the bowl of chocolate chips.

Allow to sit for one minute before whisking until smooth.

Spread the ganache mixture evenly over the cheesecake.

Sprinkle chopped Oreos all over the top.

Place into the fridge over night to allow the ganache to harden before cutting.

Serve and enjoy!
