silvia fleming love for christmas cd cover

One of the many amazing things about Christmas time is the very air – it’s filled with sights, sounds and smells that make an impression now and often last a lifetime.

The album Love For Christmas by Silvia Fleming contains eleven tracks that are perfect selections for the holiday season. Her voice is clear and beautiful. Her sound is similar to that of Karen Carpenter but with a little jazz. Her songs are sure to evoke memories of Christmases past or accompany memories of Christmases yet to come. My favorite song is the first track – Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas. It’s soulful.

Here’s the Love For Christmas track list.

  1. Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas
  2. Christmas Time is Here (featuring Sam Levine on alto sax)
  3. Love for Christmas
  4. Santa Baby (featuring Jeff Cox on bass)
  5. The Other Side of Christmas
  6. In a Lowly Manger Sleeping
  7. I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day
  8. More Than a Child
  9. My Grown Up Christmas List
  10. The Joy of Christmas (featuring Paul Brannon on guitar)
  11. What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve? (featuring Sam Levine on alto sax)

Music is magical because it can bring a memory alive like it just happened yesterday. Love For Christmas is one of those holiday CDs that you can put on every year and never tire of because it gets you in the spirit of the season now while refreshing memories of seasons past.
